Video Test Page
Here you can confirm that your computer has the necessary software to view our online presentation. You basically need two things to view our webcast:
  1. A broadband connection (T1, DSL, cable etc)
  2. Adobe Flash Player version 6+. To ensure the best video quality, you should upgrade to the latest version of Flash. The insert below tells you your Flash version.
If your Flash version is 5 or 6, then you should upgrade to at least version 7. You can do that by clicking the Flash MX logo above. The upgrade is free.
If you can see and hear the video above, then everything is fine and you can exit this page, although you may still want to upgrade to the latest version of Flash to ensure the best video quality. If you cannot see the video, or it buffers continuously, then view the What to do section below.

What to do if you can't see the video?

  1. Upgrade to the latest version of Flash by using the logo link above.
  2. Perform a port test. This will tell you whether your firewall allows you to access the streaming media server.
  3. If you fail the port test, then ask your system administrator to please open port 1935 for the RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol).
  4. If the video plays but keeps rebuffering, then check your connection speed. You can measure your download speed here. You will need a download speed of 300kbits/second to view the video. If you have less than that, then you will need to view the presentation from a faster network.
